The sunset
What happens to fees when nobody spends them, and why it protects holders.

A vault that keeps filling while nobody pays for anything is a warning sign. Holders cannot know whether the team is gone or just slow. The sunset settles it.
#When it starts
The sunset starts when no budget line has been paid for the coin's idle period. That is 60 days by default, set between 14 and 365 at setup.
Any payment to a line restarts the clock, whether automatic, manual, or made from another tool. The coin's page always shows when the sunset would start.
The keeper only starts a sunset when it has read every receipt. While it is still catching up on the vault's history, the sunset waits, so an unread payment can never make an active coin look idle.
#What it does
Each week, while the vault stays idle:
- Move. The keeper moves vault SOL, up to the weekly cap (at most 25 SOL), to the coin's own sunset wallet. This goes through a dedicated spending limit, the only one that can pay that wallet.
- Buy. The sunset wallet buys the coin: on its bonding curve before graduation, on PumpSwap after. Each buy is capped at 1% of the market's SOL side to limit price impact.
- Burn. Everything it bought is burned.
The sunset wallet holds nothing else. Its address and every buy and burn are on the coin's page.
#How it ends
The sunset ends when the creator pays a line again. Until then it continues weekly, so a fully abandoned coin's fees steadily return to its holders as burned supply.
