Troubleshooting setup
The messages the setup can show, what they mean, and what to do.
#Checking the coin

#Creating the vault
The wallet asks for several approvals, or one at a time. Some wallets batch them into one approval and some do not. Either way, each transaction is sent in order.
"A transaction is taking long to land." The network is busy. Wait a minute and open the setup page again. It continues from what is already on chain, and nothing is sent twice.
"This setup's create key has expired." The vault was never created and the setup is more than two hours old. Start again from the coin step.
"This vault on chain does not match its setup." The vault was changed outside the setup. Start a new setup; the old vault is not used.
"Too many setups in progress." The service is busy. Try again in a few minutes.
#Setting the split
"Finish the vault first." The split is permanent, so it can only point at a finished vault. Complete the vault step.
"pump.fun would refuse this split" followed by program logs: something about the coin changed since the page was opened. Reload and try again. If it repeats, the logs say why.
#Listing
"The signed message does not match this setup." Reload the page and sign again.
Not listed, with failing checks. The page lists each failing check. The usual causes:

#Wallets
No wallet shows up. Install Phantom, Solflare or Backpack and reload. Mobile users can open the site inside the wallet app's browser.
The wallet warns about an unknown program. The vault transactions call Squads, and the split calls pump.fun's fee program. Both are expected: check the program addresses in Check it yourself.
