Fuelgauge documentation

What Fuelgauge does, who it is for, and where to start reading.

A fuel station at night with the Fuelgauge sign over the pumps

Fuelgauge gives a pump.fun coin a public budget. The coin's creator fees go into a vault that can only pay the lines written in that budget. Every payment is a receipt anyone can read on Solana, and a gauge shows how many days of work the fees have paid for.

If the team stops paying for anything, the vault does not sit there forever: after an idle period its SOL buys the coin back and burns it.

Who it is for

Creators who want holders to see where the fees go. Setting up takes a few minutes from the wallet that created the coin, and costs only network rent.

Holders and traders who want to check a coin before trusting it. Every coin page shows its budget, its receipts, its gauge, and the checks Fuelgauge runs on chain every few minutes.
